7:30 - 8:00 am: The driver will collect you from your hotel lobby in Hanoi. Our Lan Ha Bay Day Cruise will begin as we start our journey along the smooth highway to Got Harbour in Hai Phong city. Keep an eye out for attractive rural scenes as we cross the highly traditional Red River Delta en route to Hai Phong.
10:00 - 10.30 am: At Got Harbour, we will have a short time to relax in the waiting lounge before stepping on board the majestic Escape Sails. Here, we will be presented with a welcome drink as the crew announces the itinerary for the following 7-8 hours of cruising time.
12:00 am: A multi-choice lunch, suitable for catering to every diet, will be served in the elegant dining room as your luxury Halong Bay day cruise sets sail. Some of the bay’s more famous islets will greet us while we cruise, including the islet of Da Chong and its 100-year old French lighthouse left behind after Vietnam’s colonial era.
14:30: Our next stop is to the Dark & Bright Caves, two fascinating wet cave systems with directly opposite appeal. There are 2 options for you can choose as below:
+ We kayak through the silent waters, enjoying the stillness of an area uncluttered with other cruise ships.
+ A local will row us on a sampan boat through the Bright Cave, where we emerge into a hidden lake enclosed on all sides by streaked cliffs and their tree-topped peaks. Passengers with keen eyes may be able to spot beautiful Cat Ba langurs, an endangered species of monkey that has sought sanctuary amongst the forested mountainsides of the Bright Cave.
15:30: In the mid-afternoon, we spend more time aboard our luxurious Halong Bay day cruise. Relax on one of the two sundecks and cherish the phenomenal sights of unbounded nature on all sides, perhaps with a drink from the bar. Later in the afternoon, our talented chefs will put on a cooking class and fruit-carving demonstration, followed by a Western-style afternoon tea with accompanying snacks.
We will cruise back to the harbour and on the way you will have a chance for swimming in the clean water and quiet area of Lan Ha Bay
17:30 – 17:45: We arrive back at Got Harbour just as a beautiful sunset envelops Lan Ha Bay. We take the final step off our cruise and board the bus that will be waiting to return us to Hanoi.
19:45 – 20:00: The driver will drop you off at your hotel lobby in the capital’s Old Quarter, concluding your Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay daytrip with the Escape Sails.

Excellent cruise in Halong Bay
It was the best memory in Halong Bay with Escape Sails Day Cruise. We got picked up at 7.30 AM in the Old Quarter. The tour guide was lovely, funny, and knowledgeable with good English skills. The limo bus was luxury and smooth and of course with AC. It took only 2 hours to reach the pier and thanks to the good driver, my wife didn’t have car sickness. Also they offered free mineral water on the way. The Escape Sails cruise was amazing, big and modern with 3 decks included bar and lounge chairs. The ship was nice and clean. Lunch is included in the tour price with delicious and lots of food. Afternoon we joined a cooking demonstration making our own spring rolls and we ate all of them. They also offered an afternoon tea and coffee with pastries and snacks. We also went kayaking and bamboo boat ride through the caves which were outstanding. The trip was so much fun. I would highly recommend doing this trip.

Ha Long Bay and Lan ha Bay with Escape Sails
My friends and I went to this amazing day tour cruise in Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. The Escape Sails is the best luxury day cruise. They picked us up at our hotel on time in a Limo van. We were a small and cozy group of 12 people. Everyone was nice and friendly, we got along really well. The tour guide was helpful and a funny guy, kept us entertained and informed. The boat was nice and new, the captain and the crew were professional and well-trained. The food served on the cruise is superb: abundant and delicious. In the afternoon, we were served a lovely snacks and took a small cooking class. We did the kayaking and bamboo boat ride to enter the Dark and Bright cave, it was a very tranquil experience watching the scenery and the people kayaking around us. Lan Ha Bay was very peaceful and we later understood that not as hectic and crowded as Ha Long Bay. Too bad we didn’t get to see any big caves but I liked what we saw. Over all we enjoyed a lot. Its value for money. The return journey was also smooth. Everybody was enjoying. I can highly recommend for this day cruise in Lan Ha Bay.

Excellent Halong Bay day cruise
We spent one day in Halong Bay with Escape Sails and it was the best trip we had in Vietnam. The bus and guide picked us up at 7.30 AM and took us on a luxury limousine car. We went on a new highway to get to Halong in just two hours. Our tour guide was so sweet and made good jokes. He was always willing to answer any questions we have and share everything he knows about the Bay. The Escape Sails went to Lan Ha Bay, a southern part of Halong Bay so it’s not a very busy area. The ship was amazing and the view we got along the way was stunningly beautiful. We took a ride in a small bamboo boat rowed by a local, he even sang for us! So amazing! The food was yummy and delicious. We got to do kayaking, swimming and joined a cooking class and a tea break on the cruise. This was one of the best excursions we did on our holiday.

Halong Bay 1 day trip from Hanoi
My husband and I had a great time with Escape Sails day cruise. The bus transfer was comfortable and really quick – only 2 hours. Staffs were great and took good care of everybody. Food was delightful, they catered for everyone’s request from vegetarian to food allergy and activities were well-organized. After lunch we stopped for the kayaking which was in a beautiful spot and relaxing. Back on the boat we stopped for a swim and cruise time with a quick cooking class and then afternoon tea at sunset. We jumped on the bus at about 6 PM to get back to Hanoi at around 8 PM. Throughout this trip, our tour guide was really nice and informative. We learned more about the destinations by his stories. Also he was a good photographer, always happy to take pictures for us. All in all – Escape Sails really did a good job and made our day. Would definitely recommend this trip to our friends!

Amazing Lan Ha Bay with Escape Sails Cruise
We booked this one day tour in Halong Bay for a few reasons one of them being that they take the new freeway which is only a 2 hour trip instead of the long way around which is close to 5 hours. The bus was comfortable, modern and clean. The Escape Sails boat was nice and luxury with a big sundeck to relax and enjoy the scenery of Halong. The crew were friendly and helpful. Lunch was fabulous with a 10-course meal and big portion as we couldn’t finish all of it. The kayaking and swimming is in areas devoid of too many tourists so makes the peaceful and calm environment even better. It isn't in Halong Bay proper though, but that's the reason you can get a wholesome experience and it was worth the price. I couldn’t ask for more about this 1 day trip with Escape Sails.

Great Lan Ha Bay one day boat
We booked the trip through our hotel and got picked up at 08.30 AM. It was a 2 hour trip on express way to the bay, with a break half way for toilet and a coffee. We took a little boat to get to the main ship which was beautiful, not very crowded and spacious. Our guide was cheering and shared many great information for us. Lunch was served right away and it was wonderful and tasty. We also had an afternoon tea and a spring rolls making class. The activities were fun and interesting with bamboo boat riding and kayaking, boat trip to the caves etc. The Halong’s landscape was amazing and beautiful, especially during the sunset. We would do this one day trip to Halong Bay again without a doubt.

Perfect day out of Hanoi within 1 day
Being so stressful finding information on the internet, I booked this tour right when I saw it without any expectation. But this day trip to Halong Bay with Escape Sails cruise didn’t let me down at all. The cruise and bus are luxury and new, I think about 3 months old. We were really relaxed on the cruise with good service on board. This Escape Sails will take you to Lan Ha Bay, which was not as busy as Halong Bay, but yet really beautiful. Also, the bus took us on high way to reach the pier for only 2 hour, much shorter than the previous trip we took which was 4 hour to Halong Bay. There were only 12 passengers on board and we enjoyed the whole day together and took a lot of photos. The trip is included kayaking or bamboo boat around the bay and exploring caves before turning back to the harbor. Food were excellent and seafood were so fresh! I could also join a cooking class to learn to make spring rolls and an afternoon tea break during the sun set. This was a really great tour for a single day – a must-try!

Fantastic one day tour in Halong Bay
We asked a few local in Hanoi about going to Halong but they told us not to because now it became really crowded and showed us some tourist traps. But we took risk and chose Escape Sails, our day trip to Lan Ha Bay went perfect. We began with a car pick up at hotel on time. We went on a modern bus to depart from Cat Ba pier. The bus ride home was also quick and safe. The boat Escape Sails looks new, well-decorated and facilities are well-maintained. The crew was friendly and service was good enough. I didn’t expect much from the food since we were on the sea but they did it really good with delicious courses and huge portion. We had a chance to kayak, swim and ride in a bamboo boat during this tour. And of course we enjoyed very much the sublime scenery of Halong Bay. I would definitely recommend this tour for a peaceful day away from the bustling Hanoi.

One Day Excursion to Halong Bay
I took the Escape Sails full day to Halong Bay and it was my best choice during my time in Vietnam. It took about 2.5 hours from my hotel to the pier and they told me that this is the shorter route than the traditional one. By arriving there, I was amazed by the beauty of Halong Bay, no doubt why they said this is a must-go destination. I even enjoyed my trip more with the luxury cruise Escape sails although it was a little foggy initially. I got lunch right after stepping on board, dishes were delicious reflecting the rich and authentic local cuisine. Later then there was also a cooking demonstration and an afternoon tea. As a solo traveler, I would give a great thanks to our tour guide who was very helpful and did a great job in keeping everybody entertained and of course thanks to all of his funny jokes! I would definitely choose Escape Sails again as I revisit this beautiful country.

Great Lan Ha Bay full day trip!
My friends and I booked this one day trip to Lan Ha Bay with Escape Sails via our hotel. To be honest, I don’t like any cruise or sea activity but Escape Sails has totally changed my mind. At first, the scenery in Halong Bay is nice and surprisingly beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful as there are not so many boats go in this area. The boat seems to be new and it was clean, we took the cruise with 7 other people, not very crowded. The tour package is already included with a delicious lunch and tea break and also a cooking class in making fresh spring rolls. What made me feel great was our guide, he always made sure everyone was having a good time and he was very accommodating to our needs. And the best enjoyable part is that I could talk to many people from different countries around the world, we got along really well for the entire day. There were other exciting activities like boat trip to a cave and a chance to go kayaking… Highly recommended, guys!

Luxury Halong Bay 1 day tour
I booked this Halong Bay day tour for my family and we enjoyed it very much! We went with a group of 10 other people on a spacious, nice and luxury boat. Staffs were friendly and amazing. There was a 10 course lunch which was very yummy, including a cooking demonstration and a tea time in the afternoon. Food were fresh and nice. After lunch, we went to do kayaking and took a boat ride around. The program was well organized and still gave you some break time. And of course we cannot forget our tour guide who is very friendly with big sense of humor. He offered to help my mom and dad in moving during the tour and he was also our coach to do kayaking. My mum who does not like to take cruise or boat trip all her life also did enjoy the tour very much. We would like to send a big thank to Escape Sails team for a great job and we hope that all of them could keep up the good work. If we return, we would surely choose this cruise again!

Wonderful Halong Bay experience with Escape Sails
My parents and I chose this Halong Bay one day tour for our vacation. We asked the hotel receptionist and she recommended going to Lan Ha Bay instead of Halong Bay since it’s less touristic area, but still belongs to Halong anyway. Our guide was kind and we really enjoyed his jokes. The ship was new and clean with nice sundeck. We had a beautiful lunch on board and also an afternoon tea break. Food was delicious, especially the seafood, really fresh. There was also a cooking class to make spring rolls which was very fun. A small let down part is that there was a little fog in the mid-day so we couldn’t take many pictures. Overall, it was a nice experience with Escape Sails cruise. We regretted not taking an overnight cruise in Lan Ha Bay. I would highly recommend this tour!

Escape Sails Day Cruise through Lan Ha Bay
I experienced this full day tour yesterday and had a great time in Halong Bay! You will start this trip with a pick up by a luxury car driving on expressway. Get there after 2 hour driving, you will spend a day on a lovely cruise ship. They will take you to see the marvelous Halong Bay with thousands of islets and limestone mountains, some mysterious caves and also a lovely swimming in the water. There are many things to do in one day like a yummy seafood buffet lunch, kayaking through the caves and a class of making spring rolls! (I loved it!!) At the end of the day, you can watch the beautiful sunset while enjoying an afternoon tea with sweets. It was an amazing day out, especially for a solo traveler like me to receive such big supports and welcome from the crew. I would definitely comeback and will take my friends for a different journeys in Halong Bay!! A big thanks to Escape sails for making my day.

Great one-day tour in Lan Ha Bay!
My wife and I wanted to visit Halong Bay in one day and we found Escapes Sails through the internet. My hotel recommended multi-day tours but they did not fit my needs. After reading some reviews, I decided to take a chance with them and had no regrets with my decision. This is one of the few companies that uses the new highway to transport you to the Bay from Hanoi. Two private DCar Limousine picks you up in Hanoi. It took about two hours to get there and we had 7 hours on the bay for our trip. Our tour was for Lan Ha Bay instead of Halong Bay. From the first thought, both bay tours seem pretty similar, but we were told that there are less boats in Lan Ha Bay which means you can enjoy yourself more here. You can find it easily on Google. Once you arrive in Lan Ha bay, the scenery was nice with a look into mountains and the islets on the way. One thing that made me regret is that they don’t provide high speed boat service here. However, the cruise was a pleasant break from the bustle life in Hanoi. The crew was friendly and courteous, they were very helpful to any of your requests. An excellent lunch was provided and afternoon tea was my favorite part during this trip. There was also a cooking demonstration led by a chef on board, they taught us how to make fresh spring rolls and then we ate all of them. If you travel during winter months, I would recommend to bring a jacket along because the bay might get chilly in this time. Overall, I highly recommend this tour group for one day discovering Halong Bay. They also do multi-day tours on their bigger ship, you can also check it out.

Lan Ha Bay with Escape Sails
We chose Halong Bay to be the next destination in our honeymoon and our tour company was Escape Sails, were totally satisfied. Their boat seems new and very comfortable; the service and lunch we got were amazing. Halong Bay is a must-go destination in Vietnam, with beautiful landscape and friendly people. The weather was not really nice on that day but we still enjoyed our journey. We went kayaking and visited a very beautiful cave there. But make sure to bring your clothes because kayaking can make you get a bit wet! Lunch was a buffet with a variety of dishes and was delicious. We also had a cooking class with the chefs to make spring rolls, my fiancé she really enjoyed it, and we had so much fun. My favorite part was watching the sunset, it was breathtaking! If you travel to Vietnam and you want to visit Halong Bay, Escape Sails would be a perfect choice!

Lan Ha Bay 1 Day Tour from Hanoi
Absolutely amazing day trip from Hanoi! We were told about the tour by a receptionist in our hotel. Were not expecting too much but they surprised us. We were picked up on time by a luxury car and only took us 2 hours to get to the harbor, exactly the same as written in schedule. We took a brand new and very modern boat. It was huge and very well-decorated with outstanding view to the bay. My trip was in February, there was a little bit of fog but the scenery was still great. I was overwhelmed by the mountains and limestone walls. Also I did enjoy the kayaking and swimming there, really fun and relaxing. But my special thank is to my tourguide. She was so kind and helpful and took care of us really well. 100% satisfied and would recommend this tour to all my friends!

Fantastic Lan Ha Bay Day Cruise from Hanoi
My best day in Vietnam. We booked our Lan Ha bay full day trip with Escape Sails. We took a Limousine car to go there and after 2 hours driving we jumped on the boat. The boat and the trip were awesome, especially our tour guide Dan. We did some kayaking, swimming and we went into an underwater cave in , which was so beautiful. The view from the boat in the afternoon was totally worth it! Would definitely recommend Escape Sails for a trip to Halong bay.

Lan Ha Bay has the same scenery with Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay with many limestone krasts, but seems to more quiet and peaceful. Certainly, I will back to visit Lan Ha Bay again.
